How To Play Assassin's Creed 3 After You Beat It

Just for my own experience, just to know if it actually realistic: have you collected everything? Seems endless for the "beginner" I am...

You should be able to replay mission via the "DNA" thingy from when you bring up the in-game menu. I've been replaying some of the missions, mainly the ship ones as I really like the ship vs ship combat missions in this game.
Aside from that, there's the Multiplayer (which I don't bother with myself).
And, there's the DLC (Tyranny of King Washington DCLs - a 3 parter I think - is supposed to be good. I don't have it yet, but plan to get it at some point).

it doesnt let me get back on the dna bed to go back to where i want to if i have to start all over just to play again thats some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

Did you sit through all the credits? The game forces to watch them all before playing again, one last F-you from the developers.

Oh right, maybe that's it. There is a bit more of the story that shows after the credits, and maybe that's what you have to do if you want to be able to access the DNA stuff to be able to replay missions. I know it's a bit annoying (and those credits are quite long), but, you could just go make a cup of tea or something for a few minutes and come back 15 minutes later :p

To be fair, the credits do go on for quite a lot longer than 15 minutes, and you can't alt tab out of it.

Interestingly enough I did go read a book, but you see I didn't want to read I wanted to hit escape and move onto something else but the game wouldn't let me, which after viewing that mediocre ending kind of ticked me off. World problem? Hardly. Minor annoyance that explains the issue the OP was having? Yes.
